Re: ovulation tests and the fertility monitor

I tried an ovulation kit and didn't have any success. Since women with PCOS don't ovulate on a regular basis it's hard to know when to test. I tried at different times during the month, and still never had a positive result. I would talk with your doctor about your concerns, and even see if they would test you the first few times, or see if your insurance would cover it, and see if you are ovualting at all. This way you won't have to spend your money, and the doctor can be more involved with your reproduction needs. This is what I would do. My doctor said that when my husband and I start trying again to conceive, she wants me to try "naturally" for two months, and if we don't succeed, she wants me to go to a specialist for testing because of the fact that PCOS can lead our cycles to be so unpredictable. Hope this helps! Amber At Wed, 8 Jan 2003, ValeriGail wrote: >
