Re: husbandsFrom: Amber (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 4 Jan 2003 06:18:03 -0600 (CST)
JaJaJaJ I don't think a relationship should end just because of infirtility. My husband and I had a miscarriage BEFORE we were married, and didn't know it was from PCOS until after we were married. If pregnancy isn't an option for couples, there are always other ways to have children. I think anybody who wouldn't marry someone they are in love with because of the fact of infirtility is wrong, and they should look at how much they really love that person. There are so many children in this world who don't have parents, and with the "cloning" research on the horizon, parenthood is available for almost everybody. The thing about the "cloning" research is that they take a cell from one person, but they can remove half of the dna and splice it with anothers, ie; your husbands, and the child produced from that procedure will be of both of you. I know it's a ways down the road, but we have to look to the future and realize that we aren't trapped by our own bodies. I think you deserve love just like anybody else, and I think it would be sad if you denied yourself the love of another just because of PCOS. I have had the most wonderful 5 years with my husband, and I know that he is there for me whether I birth a child of our own, or welcome someone elses child into our hearts. Being a parent is a gift, no matter where the child came from! Amber At Fri, 20 Dec 2002, ja wrote: > >How many of you that are married were diagnosed beforehand?
