i am on 1500 mg met daily, took proverax 6days waiting for period before I was to start clomid. Have typical pms symptoms swollen sore breasts, moody, bloated, feeling blah on a whim decided to take a pregnancy test. I have taken a couple before hoping i would somehow be pregnant and surprise myself and not have to go to fertility drugs with all negatives. today i took one and it is positive. i finished provera december 27th. i took 2 more first response preg tests and those are also positive. is it possible i am really pregnant from just taking metformin? i have not had a period on my own since going off birth control pill feb 2002 when we started trying. i have had 2 periods induced by provera since feb and this was my third time using it. could it be a false positive due pcos hormonal stuff? i am still considered obese by Body mass index at 5'2 169, i was 191 or so before taking metformin. any responses would be greatly appreciated. trying to be positive, but also not get my hopes up if i am not pregnant.
