I have pcos. I have been taking 1500 mg metformin since november wihout getting a period. I just took provera supposed to be for 5 days but when i looked at calendar i wrote 6 so by accident i just realized cvs gave me 6 instead of 5. hope this is not the problem, it was busy over xmas not paying as much attention as normal. anyway, it is my 7th day and no period. last times i took provera i got period couple days afterwards. I have very swollen breasts, bloat, pms symptoms very moody, irritable. so, i got worried and took a first response pregnancy test which i have done in past in hopes it would be positive by some miracle. but today it has 2 lines saying positive that i am pregnant, could this possibly be right? i am going to take another. is it even possible i got pregnant just with metformin and losing 20 pounds? thanks. aimee
