Reply: anonymous: "Re: What are the side effects of PCOS?" Hey there - I've just recently been diagnosed with PCOS, and I was wondering what are the side effects of having PCOS? Is the PCOS the reason I have so much trouble losing weight? Can I lose weight with PCOS? If I lose weight will the PCOS get better? I'm currently about 15-20lbs over weight and I'm on the Weight Watchers progam with slow success. Been reading about low-carb diets also, and incorporating that into Weight Watchers. Also, I've been having re-occuring bacterial infections for 2 years now. (Being treated with OB/GYN) Are the infections the cause for my PCOS? Or is the PCOS causing my infections? What can I do to rid myself of these infections?
