Re: Do regular obgyn's prescribe glucophage?From: Kristy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 27 Dec 2002 00:27:30 -0800 (PST)
Elsa, Like Denise I don't see an endo either. I used to back when I was first diagnosed but later down the road just decided to stick with a regular OB/GYN. Everyone's situation with PCOS and the kind of treatment that they need for it is different. And like some of the others have said it also depends a lot on the dr's knowledge of the problem. Take care, ===== Kristy :) http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html For women who are interested in additional support http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Endo_Vulvodynia_PCOS/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Zoladexforendometriosis/ I am a Medical Secretary who does a lot of learning from reading on the Net, books, my dr(s), as well as sharing my own personal experiences.
