I have had erratic periods my whole life but never was concerned until October when I had 3 full cycles in 1 month time period. My obg ran a few tests and sent me to an endo. I've been surfing the net and reading info on all this. The one thing I can't seem to find an answer on is How exactly a diabeties med works toward regulating PCOS? I have been on Metformin for just over a week and I feel like my emotions are on a rollercoaster. I'm up, I'm down, I'm sad, I'm happy. I feel like I'm on double PMS. Not to mention the addition Nasty side-effects on my stomach. I'm only taking 500Mg a day and am supposed to up it to 1500 Mg over the next month. I've been reading up a storm and still have several questions so I am glad I found this site. I will keep going through the archives to see if I can find more answers.
