My body took about 6 months to get used to the bcp where I actually felt great and began to like being on it. My doctor also suggested to me to avoid the cramps, to extend my cycle, making it about 7-8 weeks long instead of 4. She was right. I feel a lot better this way.

Talk to your doctor first before trying anything different.
