When taking metformin should you take it the same time every day and watch what you eat? I asked my endocronologist and he said no that it should not have anything to do with the medicine working. I am taking 2000mg of metformin a day and I still don't think it is working all that great. I have been taking that much for about 4 months and still have not had a period. The facial hair is a little better and the acne is alot better. I hope that maybe it just is not in my system good enough.
