a little downFrom: H. (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 18 Dec 2002 02:42:13 -0600 (CST)
once again it is 3:37 in the morning and I am hurting and aching so bad I cant sleep.... sometimes I wonder if I will ever sleep through the night again... most nights I sleep in the recliner or sitting up on the sofa because the pain of getting out of bed in the morning after lying down for so long is just excruciating.... I want to thank everyone that responded to my first post... it means so much to me to have found a group of women that know how I feel and dont concider me to be a lazy hypochondriac. anyhoo...I did have a purpose for posting tonight, other than just not being able to sleep. I have not been able to work for the past year, my pain and fatigue levels have just been off the chart. Now that I have a diagnosis, I am very hopefull that things will start to improve once I get in with the endo..... my question is, is this disease recognized by disability? Do you think I could get help until I can this this disease under controll and get back on my feet..... would be nice to be able to help my dad out with bills and not feel like I am unable to provide for my own child. thanks for listening-- huggs to all H. J.
