I am A+ as far as I know.

I think the blood type diet is a neat concept but it's steeped in speculation.

Most people DO do well on whole grains and other complex carbs, or fresh meat and greens or quinoa and lentils. You know? It's about healthy food and correct portions.

I think the real answer is to get away from processed foods, which is what the "blood type diet" is really saying, underneath it all.

Granted, I only read the original book, loaned to me by my friend who is an adherent (and who looks totally amazing for a person with Hypothyroid age 50), and I only read it only the once, and it was fascinating.

But I couldn't even begin to evaluate it's truth. No real, replicable tests on these diet patterns were done. It's right up there with ayurvedic diets (which holds slightly more water) in my opinion.

What I do know is that there is evidence that insulin resistance and other "obesity" genetic coding is probably evolutionary in nature, and that our plethora of high fat/high calorie food choices is really taking it's toll on what would have been, in another century, a survival mechanism. To sustain us through the lean years. Only we are in the Years Of Fat.
