You poor thing! I got tears in my eyes reading your post. Seriously. It made me both angry and so sad for you and what you went through. And while the story made me sad, I am so proud of you for posting a request for help. Because I've never gotten anything BUT help from this board, from these fabulous generous women and medical practitioners, and I'm super glad you found it.

I am so sorry you are going through this stuff alone, but I'm so glad you found strenght to post a plea for help.

Don't worry about posting things you need to talk about, even if you think they are icky or embarrassing. That's what this is for, it's anonymous and helpful.

I have never experienced anything but kindness and thoughtfulness, and I wish wish wish you had received good service from your physician.

Personally, I think you should take everyone's advice and find someone who is more attuned to PCOS. You have the symptoms, the diagnosis, and good reason, to find a doc more caring than your current.

Also, have you been prescribed yasmin? I am such the poster child for it. I love it. For example, my skin went from bacne to pristine in a month. I wonder what is causing your pelvic pain? I wonder if it's actually your lower back...I had that happen for awhile....

Also, please get help for the depression. You deserve to feel less pain, and whatever works for you, be it counseling or paxil, may you find a way to lessen your stress my dear.

Much love and feel better soon,

~Amelie, who has had her share of icky cysts (light applications of benzoyl peroxide gel helped dry them up, I think they were just irritated abnormally swollen sweat glands and hair follicles) etc., so don't sweat it, babecakes.
