I have had this same condition since I was a child. I recently went through the Prime Test for allergies. I was allergic to most starches, especially wheat. When you refer to carbs, do you mean all carbs or just simple carbs like wheat, corn, potatoes and rice? I do not have the problem with complex carbs like broccoli, spinach, carrots and most fruits. Other foods to which I am allergic are: almond, peanut, chocolate, green and black tea, coffee, all shellfish, tuna, eggs, milk, butter, cheese and yogurt.

My husband is allergic to: wheat, corn, chocolate, green and black tea, coffee, eggs, milk, butter, cheese and yogurt. He went on their Rotation Diet strictly for two months and lost 40 pounds. His cholesterol went from 254 to 149 with no medication. The theory is that the allergens are causing a spectrum of things to go wrong in our bodies. I have a hard time going without pasta and cheese

You can find more info on the Prime Test and the Rotation Diet at preventivecare.com.
