Just a couple of things, this works well for monophasic pills, but not as well for triphasics. If this was said, and I missed it, I'm sorry.

Also, I've not seen where it was harmful to not go more than 3 months without having a period. If you look on the womens health list, when a period is controlled by the pill, they have had people go up to 22 months (do a search on that, I believe that was the number) straight. When you are not having periods by yourself that a doctor isn't working with, then you have a problem and need to have one induced every 3 months.

Be aware that it is harmful to go more than 3 months without a period. Never stay on the hormone medication pills for longer than that.
