Hi All,
I have just found this website and it is a godsend. I have suffered
PCOS for many years and feel there is little support or discussion on
it.
I too have dark hair on visible places and it is very embarrassing. I
have been paying for waxing for the last 3 years to remove it. It is a
painful and expensive process as I needed to go get it done every 2
weeks.
I asked my normally understanding doctor if there was anything I could
do and she told me that there really wasn't anything she could offer and
that it happens to a lot of women as they get older. I am only 29!
I searched about and ended up paying for private laser treatment because
I was offered nothing else. It has cost me £250 for 6 sessions so I
hope that it works.
The unfortunate thing that my private consultant told me is that because
t is an on-going "illness" (for lack of a better word) then they cannot
guarantee that it will be a permanent fix.
Is there any end to this?
Mich.......
