Alesse is a monophasic pill, so all the pills should be the same. Just make sure you take ONLY the active pills - the first three weeks of pills. Why are you starting the 2nd pack in the 2nd week? It shouldn't matter, just curious.

I had a lot of problems with spotting on Alesse; it's a common side effect of pills in general and low dose pills, such as alesse, specifically. You may just be having some spotting. Have you been on this pill for long? It is possible that if you took it before with no problems, you didn't start to have spotting problems until your off-week (bleed week), and therefore just never noticed a problem with it.
