I've had pcos for several years..Last year...while on the pill norqd.I began to lose alot of hair...I had noticed some very slight thinning before I started that pill..However for the year I was on it , My hair shed terrible, was greasy as well as my skin and was very fragile.. I stopped taking it in October and was put on spiro and yasmin...I can honestly say the shedding has drastically reduced..I was losing about 200 hairs a day..Now I think my hairloss is somewhat typical..maybe slightly a little more than average...I think my doctor seems to think that the loss was solely from pcos..However..I dont think I'll know because he immediately started me on spiro..I have a couple of questions...Has anyone had success with these medications for regrowth.?, Has anyone experienced hair loss while on the pill norqd or any other Progesterine only pills? I also had a terrible reaction to glucophage..terrible gas pains, nausea , shaking , chills...Is this common and if so how long before the effects stop? I got so scared I stopped taking it..I would appreciate any help and I thank you all in advance for taking time to read this..Happy Holidays everyone!!!!
