Hi Carisa. Yes it can seem really discouraging when you're trying to get pregnant and it isn't happening. You are having periods so presumably you are ovulating, though you haven't said that you know this for sure, or how long you've been trying. You said you'd like a success story. Well, I was having only 2-3 periods a year when we first married, and that was a real concern for us, but our first child was conceived during one of those fertile cycles. It does happen, and with period every month you apparently have a lot better chance than we did! The next two, I used clomid which gave me regular ovulations, and pregnancies after two to three cycles. I have had no miscarriages, no pregnancy difficulties of any kind. I realise that I am fortunate in this respect- but it does prove that statistics are just that, statistics, and that there is a lot of good news too. It's easy to get discouraged, but just keep on with it look at your diet carefully. Have you tried the low carbohydrate approach? It's the way to go. Best of luck to you!
