Re: BBT: Any success stories? (to Sonnet)

OK so that comment about waking up at the same time every day really IS the only thing that is worrying me because I am SO not the morning person... I don't know a whole hell of alot about the BBT, so forgive me if this is a stupid question... but can't I just take my temp at 11AM or something?

Good luck with your recurring dream... funny you should mention that because I have been having this recurring labor and delivery dream where I end up with a baby girl (((oh please, oh please, oh please!))) And November was our "we're gonna do it this month!" (NO PUN INTENDED) So we assumed an every other day schedule and though I know it is early, I swear I feel funny... REALLY tender, yesterday I woke up with this bile taste that made me have nausea, hmmmmmmm... how is a cyster ever to know... and what's worse is that I begged my doc for a beta HCG test last cycle so now she is totally going to think I am a hypochondriac!

I have heard of TCOYF, but had been reluctant to go track it down because I never know whether something is for us (I had secretly wondered if the title should be "Taking Charge of THEIR Fertility: how the "normal folk do it") You know what I mean? I have a co-worker, so well-intentioned, who keeps telling me that she spent 1 week in a workshop learning the Billings method and was thus even able to successfully choose to have a boy the first time and a girl the second... and she keeps offering to sit down and tell me the whole damn thing... I didn't want to break her heart, but I had to finaly try to shut her up so I explained that ANY baby would be fine, that it was not a question of planning because the best laid plans of mice and men and PCOSers are not always coming to fruition... she still does not seem to understand that knowing whether or not I ovulate is the big problem here, I really do think she honestly just thinks it is taken for granted that all women ovulate every month... OMG, if ONLY!
