Hi Sonia
I am based in the UK, so always feel free o mail me direct at home. I
was diagnosed vis blood tests and an interna untrasound (it is more
accurate than externals ones if you are not pgy) As for a smear, well it
is healthy to have one every 5 years, and they really arnt that bad ( a
little uncomfortable) Your GP should be able to make thing easier for
you, by warming up the insrtament and using loads of lubs (sorry a litle
too much detail) I do understand your worries, I was a virgin when i had
my forst smear and it really terrified me, but i had a sympathetic
female GP who did everything she could to help me relax and i had a
nurse holding my had to!
Where are you based in the UK?
I hope this helps, take great care
