I was so sick from the metformin....my doctor says you should never start out taking too much. He had me take one 500 mg a day for aobut 2-3 weeks before telling me to take 1000 mg at dinner.....this has helped. I still feel a tiny bit naseated with 1000 mg. but it's nothing compared to how I felt all the time with Metformin. Maybe cutting back will help?
Trust me; I was throwing up sick....I feel your pain!!! Good luck and I hope you feel better.
