Question from a list newbie :)

Hi -- I'm two weeks into drug therapy with Glucophage and Aldactone. My Endo has me stepping the Glucophage up over a period of three weeks (to 1500mg) and the Aldactone over four weeks.

One of both of the meds has taken away my appetite almost entirely, and I'm not even on the hightest dose as of yet. I didn't eat much to begin with (I'm battling an eating disorder), but now even the foods I *did* eat before aren't appealing to me (i.e. yogurt). It's a problem because I'm so turned off by everything, that I've become dehydrated and my blood pressure has dropped quite a bit. I've been told (by my pcp's office) to stop the Glucophage and lower the dose of Aldactone if I can't eat/drink enough to compensate and to call my Endcrinologist.

Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks...
