Does anyone know long term symptoms of PCOS?From: anonymous@obgyn.netMon, 18 Nov 2002 19:39:14 -0600 (CST)
I was diagnosed with PCOS in 1997... I have since had 3 beautiful children after hard work and trying, but have a lot of hormone problems, depression, and other physical problems. I don't know what the long term life long affects are of pcos, but I would like to know if there is anyone in my boat with it. I fought with my life to get pregnant the first time, but after the first pregnancy the ovulation seemed to come naturally, and I had no problems ovulating. Are there hormone problems that are related to this as well? The only concern I had when I was diagnosed was could I have a baby. Now I havn't dealt with it in years... Does anyone know what sypmtoms are left after your body has physically reversed itself with it? I still have all of my cysts, as my doctor advised me not to remove them because they will only come back. I ovulate most of the time now, but not always. Just seeking answers...
