The doctor that told you it is okay to not have a period for two years is a quack!!! That is very dangerous as it increases your chance of getting endometrial cancer. You should have a period at least every three months because after three months your lining in your uterus will get very thick and that is unhealthy. I went four months without a period once and I had to get on birth control pills. If you don't want to get on birth control pills for awhile then maybe low-carbing will help. Low-carbing worked for me and I got my period Sept. and then I skipped October and got it in Nov., which is a big improvement. I hope this helps!!!

Sincerely

Tiffany
