"Sugar Busters" is my favorite low carb diet book so far. My gynecologist highly recommended it to me. It thoroughly explains what types of carbs are ok or not so good for insulin problems, explains why some carbs are worse than others explaining the glycemic index theory (which works great for me), and helps a person with insulin problems learn to balance their meals for health.
