Re: Any Cysters with regular menstrual cycles???From: Rachel (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 10 Nov 2002 20:39:20 -0600 (CST)
Hi, Strangely, I have had a normal menstrual cycle of about 28-30 days since I was in my early twenties. Prior to that I was irregular, meaning I would go months without a period and when I had one, it was very heavy and would last about 7-10 days. I attribute the change to a brief period of time on BCP, which I discontinued after a few months because I was gaining weight rapidly and breaking out with acne and I blamed it on the BCP. I have had PCOS since puberty and was told by the medical profession that I would have great difficulty conceiving. After I became regular, my husband and I practiced birth control but occasionally did not and I got pregnant twice without trying. Therefore, I believe I must be an abberation.
