A partial diagnosis is not a diagnosis. Some women have other health issues that can resemble pcos.

I am also on Glucophage. This takes time to get the hormones balanced.

Mine were always regular too...not the exact day,but always within 21-23 days on average.Last month was the first time I ever missed a period.

As for being fertile...some women as myself are and always ovulated, but had several miscarriages which is associated with pcos. I have never carried to full term, yet was fertile and ovulation was like clock work.Strange body!I had the outward symptoms when younger, yet no obesity or hairgrowth...just acne and hairloss...now I have no outward symptoms at all...just the missed cycle.

It happens with the testosterone and androgens.Your levels are probably higher.

Met may help with this or spironolactone.

You will know when the time is right and good luck to you! :)

With last month being an exception and no period for the first time since I started menses and I am 41 now.....it does make a difference whether or not you do ovulate and menestrate to become pregnant. You should get a period at least once in three months.

You should seek the help of a fertility specialist and endocrinologist.

Hope this helps, ------ Barb ___
