Can Cheno cause PCOS?

My daughter at 17 was diagnosed with a rare form of colon cancer, stage 3. Before treatment she had enough hair on her head for 3 people! And she did suffer from painful and heavy periods. She lost about a third of her hair even though the docs thought she would loose all of it. She had a period every month while on chemo, but after her last treatment she didnt have a period for 2 months.I also noticed a huge amount of hair growing on her face along with a good amount of acne, and she regained her weightloss from chemo plus an aditional 30 pounds.I took her to an obgyn and he put her on Yasmin, no help yet except she has started having her period again. She then went to an endo doc and we havent gotten results back yet except for glucose that was normal. He suspects PCOS. I am agrevated with him because he seems to act like chemo couldnt cause this. If she was under 14 and getting chemo sahe would have neen monitored by an endo because chemo affects growth hormones, but because of her age the cancer docs think Im a nut. If anyone knows anything on this please let me know, she feels like crap right now. Thanks
