omg omg omg testosterone dropped!From: jodi (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 Oct 2002 15:53:16 -0600 (CST)
I hadn't gotten a testosterone level done since my diagnosis. Don't know why... doc didn't see too interested in keeping up with hormone levels while I was being treated. i finally got my results back form a June blood draw where I had to do a little finangling to get total T drawn in addition to free T... ANYWAY in December of 2000, my total T was in the low 90s. (92 I think) In June 2002 it was 51!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know most women wouldn't be thrilled with a total T of 51 but my god, that's almost HALF what it was... I feel like this is the most hope I've had since my journey into treatment began!!! Now hasn't it been said that there is still a cutoff, that even if T is in the "normal" range there is a number it has to fall under to allow normal ovulation to occur? Anyone know what that no. is? - jodi
