Supposedly different types of laser work better for different skin types. I think that it is true that light skin/dark hair is best for laser to work... BUT by no means does that mean dark skin won't respond. Look in your yellow pages under "hair" and call around. Usually you can get a free consult and trial. Ask what laser they use (if the ad doesn't say) and ask about dark skin type compatability.
