Hello fellow PCOS'ers :) My name is Sarah, and I have just recently been diagnosed with having PCOS. I'm 20 years old, and thank goodness she caught it so soon. I have been married for a year and a half now. No children yet, we didn't start trying until just a few days ago. I haven't started any treatments yet. I am awaiting for the arrival of the fertility drugs (forgot the name) to the Dr.'s office, and planning a trip abroad all at the same time. So that will delay the treatments another month. I'm not really sure how to introduce myself this being my first e-group not involving religion, lol. Which I may include somewhat in these posts, not to offend or anything, but because I believe that nothing happens but by the will of God, no matter how horrible it may be, and He never gives us more than we can handle, no matter how much we want to disagree. Anyways, I have abnormal LH and FSH levels, but everything else is fine n dandy. I have very fine hair and have lost alot recently. I litterally can pull out handfuls daily. At first I thought it was just my crazy hair type, but it's reached far more than I've ever lost. Have any of you ladies tried Rogaine for women? I have bad acne, and thought that it was just my skin being ultra sensitive, but the tests proved that otherwise. I gained 30 pounds within one year, but thought that was a side effect of the BC pills I was taking, and, of course, the test proved otherwise. I have tried dieting (but that never lasts long, I love food), exercise (which leaves me exhausted) and Xenadrine (which left my stomach turned inside out, so that didn't last long either). Any tips? Let's see, I have alot of mood swings. Poor DH hates that part, lol. And I've experienced alot of pain and discomfort lately from the lovely cysts. One woke me up in the middle of the night, and I swear it hurt SO bad!!!! I couldn't get to sleep until I finally cried myself to sleep (and I never cry from pain! Granted I am a wimp, but I never cry!). Oh, and I haven't had my period since April, when I stopped the BCP. Okay, I am sorry I bored you, but I guess we're all here to share experiences and all. Do any of you have tips or ideas for a new PCOS'er, anything that you have experienced in your PCOS days that might help me? Something you did/didn't do that you regretted, or had bad effects to? I'm all ears to anything you gals have to say! Thanks! ~Sarah
