I am trying to get all the information I can about this syndrome that I was told I more than likely have. I was told that I should go and see an endocrinologist but my doctor won't refer me to one. I don't have insurance through work but I am eligible for state insurance and I do currently receive state insurance but it sucks. I tried to switch doctors since mine doesn't want to help but I can't. I tried to switch MCO's but it takes atleast 2 months to even start the paperwork. I need help NOW! I have been wating over 6 years to find out that I am not crazy and it seems that I did all this struggling for nothing. I am way over weight, I am tired all the time but I can't sleep, I don't have a cycle but I have severe cramping in my back for weeks at a time, I am so moody that I am scared it is effecting my relationship with my kids. I have to shave almost daily like a man, when I look in the mirror I look like a furry babboon. I am getting to the point where I want to just sit in the corner, rock back and forth and sing or scream, just depending on my day. Well I am done ranting now. So doeas anyone have any ideas on how I can find me a compotent Doctor? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
