I can relate. Completely. The fasting blood test is at times just not
quite sensitive enough to pick up on IR. In my opinion, the fasting
test should be banned. Your fasting readings are perfectly normal, but
does that exactly mean anything? No.
The fact that you have PCOS, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure
should be enough to prove IR exists. Hard to convince the doctors tho.
They are such stubborn little things.
Do you feel like you have dramatic dips and crashes during the day after
meals? If so, talk to the doctor about this. Your IR is probably
showing up during the day. That was exactly how it was with me. In a
case like this where no one is listening and you can't get any action,
well, you must be extremely aggressive and demanding. It's a shame it
comes to that. But, it works.
