If you do not want to have any more children, it would be much safer and healthier to go on the Pill (a pcos friendly pill such as Demulen for example), possibly for an extended cycle, in addition to taking your Glucophage. These will all help with your PCOS symptoms as well; in addition to a healthy diet, exercise program, and lifestyle to fit your needs.

Removing your ovaries does not cure PCOS. Any doctor who even suggests this is a doctor you should run from quick.
