Did I say brown rice is wild rice? I am quite aware of the difference. I am also quite aware of the fact that my husband hates wild rice and refuses to touch it. :-) (I myself am quite fond of it... unequally yoked and so on... Maybe I should cook dinner for you! :-) ) - jodi ps - i was not aware of wild rice being what you "should" substitute for rice... I think of brown rice as the most natural rice of the rice world. Wild rice, if you want to get technical, isn't even rice... which doesn't preclude its being very good, of course. :-)
