Ladies-- I have been ttc for over 2 years and have only had about 6 periods within that time. Three of those where while taking clomid. I was on glucophage for a while, but stopped using the pills because I wanted to control insulin-resistance naturally. I have changed my diet to include a low-carb high protien routine. In the last four months I have lost 15 pounds (the most sustained loss ever). After my side effects of clomid, I decided I wanted some other way to have periods and jump start ovulation. I heard of natural progesterone as a alternative to medications. I just tried natural progesterone cream. Had a hard time finding it, but I went with some in a pump container so it continues to have the medicane. You put it on your soft tissues (face, chest, inside arms, abs, feet, inside thighs) every night for two weeks. It gives you the daily amount of progesterone your body makes. After 5 days, I began my period. HORRAYY!!! The company I purchase the cream from have many stories about success with infertility and progesterone cream. They call them "arbonne babies".
