Hi..A year after I got out of highschool I gained about 10 /15 extra lbs and stopped getting my period and started getting the excess hair problems... then I gained about 70 more lbs over the next couple of years...stil had the same problems of course. Over the last 2 years i have managed to drop about 40 of the 70 lbs I had gained with eating differently and exercising....and I got my period back!!!..and have now been getting it every month for a year. The thing is, I am not back down below the weight I was when I first stopped getting my period and had the hair problems. I still have the hair problems (darker hair on legs and arms...about 10-20 little whiskers under my chin that i have to pluck) so why did I get my period back? It is back to the normal cycle I used to have in highschool...even better in fact because sometimes in highschool i would skip a couple of months (the cycle is about 5 days long with 2 major flow days and then the rest medium to light..with normal minimal cramps etc) it seems the menstrual cycle thing has healed but not the hormone hair problem. Can anyone explain this?....I wonder if I lose the rest of the weight I need to ..which is about 30/40 more lbs, if the hair problems will go away too??!! Its just all so weird!!!!!!
