How can it beFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 14 Oct 2002 14:19:58 -0500 (CDT)
Hi I had test two years ago and only just found out results (long story)well I found out that I have polysystic ovaries. I wonder how that can be when I have no symptons and my periods have been so regular until they put me on medication called Androcur, but since being on this medication I have been reading on side affects which I'm not happy with at all, and I have been suffering alot of the side affects and have only been on this medication for two months I have found this last month I have had my periods for 20 days now, could this medication actually be making things worse and should I stop taking it until I revisit the hospital in December. Very worried of the liver damage and how regular tests should be carried out while on the above medication. Has anyone had the same problem and if so what was their outcome. Oh and have there been other problems with people and the affects of this medication. Could someone give me advice. What should I do, I am worried now. signed overly worried
