Thank-You Amy for your support as I can use all the support that I can
get.
As for your searching to help me out..I would appreciate anything you
can find and you can send it to me at barbaracamara@yahoo.com
Prayers would be so nice.I need to pray a little more these days.
I will also keep your god daughter and her parents in my prayers.I do
know how hard it is on a family when a child so innocent gets ill.I
often ask god the question...why?
I suppose there is a reason for all suffering out there, but sometimes
when we've reached that dark point..we forget to reach out to god for
help. The power of prayer is or can be miraculous.I hope your god
daughter gets touched by healing hands...that god gives the doctors the
knowledge to help.
As for MAyo Clinic...I had posted about that a while back.Health care
here will not pay since they have diagnosed me about a hundred
times.....but me and my one doctor are still fighting it.I personally
don't have the money to go to the states.I already made an appointment
two years ago and cancelled for the cost would have been out of this
world. There is still a letter of debate...I don't know how my doctor has
done this with two other specialists...but they are trying to get health
care to pay for it.I think after six years...misdiagnosed,diagnosed and
then undiagnosed...I deserve this. The costs of all the tests they are
doing here on me and the waiting that is causing me more undo stress
should really make them think.I have seen probably twenty five doctors
including specialists since 1997.Only two said I had a stress
problem. All others found something or other wrong with me or referred me
on to another specialist. This Canadian health care is appalling me.
Thanks so much for writing.
You may email me anytime,
I may not answer right away,..but know that I am always reading.
Hugs,
Barb

>My heart goes out to you! It's been a long time since I've read my PCOS digest...but I recognized "Barb C" immediately. You have always been such a help to me in my struggles with PCOS....I remember one time you wrote down a whole list of "healthy foods" -- right down to how you made them....seasoned chicken chunks for snacks and things like that...and it made such a difference to me at that time in my life when I was struggling with an intense addiction to refined carbs. I am truly concerned about your health and overall state of mind and wish I could help in some way. I wish I knew what the answer is to your distressing heart palpitations? All I can say is, hang in there. I will add my eyes and ears to the search for an answer and I'll include you in my prayers daily. If I remember correctly, you're in Canada. One thing that occurs to me -- as a last resort, I know some people go to the Mayo Clinic for an intensive work up and evaluation. At any rate, hang in there! If there's anything I've learned, it's that when you feel you're failing miserably and have lost all hope, it might not be actually so. Sometimes one thing you hear or read will make everything fall into place. One thing could make everything you've read or heard up until that point finally fall into place. So, Barb, I'll be praying for you to have such a revelation. Also, since I know you are a spiritually oriented person, could you include my six year old goddaughter, Caroline, in your prayers? She had been throwing up for two weeks and got to the point where she could hardly walk...tests revealed that she has a brain tumor, on her cerebellum. Further tests revealed that the cancer spread to other parts of her brain and to her spinal column. Last week surgery was successful in removing the original tumor, but only 60% could be removed safely. She will have a long drawn out process of chemo and radiation to treat the remaining cancer. Prior to the beginning of her chemo and radiat
i
>on she needs to undergo a spinal tap and bone marrow. It just seems so much for a little six year old to bear! I ask you to pray for her, and for her mother, father, and two youngers brothers. Thank you, Barb! I will be praying for you!
