Barb,

My heart goes out to you! It's been a long time since I've read my PCOS digest...but I recognized "Barb C" immediately. You have always been such a help to me in my struggles with PCOS....I remember one time you wrote down a whole list of "healthy foods" -- right down to how you made them....seasoned chicken chunks for snacks and things like that...and it made such a difference to me at that time in my life when I was struggling with an intense addiction to refined carbs. I am truly concerned about your health and overall state of mind and wish I could help in some way. I wish I knew what the answer is to your distressing heart palpitations? All I can say is, hang in there. I will add my eyes and ears to the search for an answer and I'll include you in my prayers daily. If I remember correctly, you're in Canada. One thing that occurs to me -- as a last resort, I know some people go to the Mayo Clinic for an intensive work up and evaluation. At any rate, hang in there! If there's anything I've learned, it's that when you feel you're failing miserably and have lost all hope, it might not be actually so. Sometimes one thing you hear or read will make everything fall into place. One thing could make everything you've read or heard up until that point finally fall into place. So, Barb, I'll be praying for you to have such a revelation. Also, since I know you are a spiritually oriented person, could you include my six year old goddaughter, Caroline, in your prayers? She had been throwing up for two weeks and got to the point where she could hardly walk...tests revealed that she has a brain tumor, on her cerebellum. Further tests revealed that the cancer spread to other parts of her brain and to her spinal column. Last week surgery was successful in removing the original tumor, but only 60% could be removed safely. She will have a long drawn out process of chemo and radiation to treat the remaining cancer. Prior to the beginning of her chemo and radiati on she needs to undergo a spinal tap and bone marrow. It just seems so much for a little six year old to bear! I ask you to pray for her, and for her mother, father, and two youngers brothers. Thank you, Barb! I will be praying for you!

Amy R.

Hello,

I realize that ALL of the benzodiazepams are addictive, but for now this seems to make the difference in whether or not I can function in a day to a degree or sit all day with a rapid heartbeat.I hate any psychotrophic medications period...but this one gave me a hope that possibly the heart palps were all stress related.I guess not,as I am in a panicy state right now and heart is palping like crazy and I am deathly scared.I don't get this at all. SO scared!I also know that xanax can cause heart palps....I don't know in my case what is what anymore. They come and they go and seems yesterday they lifted my mood and today had no effect whatsoever. I am really on the verge of suicide these days as these palpitations and sensations are driving me crazy.

I feel that there is no hope left for me. I feel so much despair. What is wrong with me? What is it going to take for someone to see what these heart palps are doing to my life? I cannot lead a normal life.I feel like a 85 year old woman.

Barb > ><PRE>Yes I took Xanax and It is very addicting and I only took one a night .Also >any kind of antianxiety medicine is, so be careful. There is a websight about >it and sorry I cant think of it now but look it up !!!!Goodluck and stop now

Sincerely,
Barb C.
