Christine,
What is the name of the blood test?
I want to go in and know what it is and make sure it is on my requistion
sheet...not him saying you don't have it or this other test that he had
done would have showed this.I want to be sure.I will read the post
first.Unfortunately,I live in Canada...winnipeg...worst place for health
care!
It's free, but stinks!Doctors just can't *think* or they are too damn
lazy to think of something causing ill health and everything here is
*stress*,seems I have had a diagnosis of *stress* before which turned
out to be lupus...now they say drug induced lupus.I have a very good
endo, but sometimes he is a little overly confident,as he seems to make
several diagnosis's on me without any other tests that should be
done.I've been suffering with bowel problems over the last five years on
and off.I do know I had some malabsorbtion problems..go and figure,,with
all the unnecessary meds they had given me for illness's that I now
don't seem to have.
I often wonder too if it is cause by many of the anxiety meds we
take. They sure play havoc on the gut,the liver etc and I am now on
clonazepam for my anxiety levels and I am very worried that it will
cause my bilibrubin enzymes to go haywire again.I just cannot win.
Wish there were some drugs that didn't pose such a threat to our
health. You take one med to get rid of one thing and then get ten other
side effects from the first med etc. Then you find you are now on
nine(average amount here in Canada for people aged 50+).
Can you tell me a little more about the natural way you are going to
combat this disorder. My two doctors are very pro choice in herbal
treatments rather than others.I still do take three conventional
meds..but all have given me problems with my bowel in one way or
another.
Thanks again, and again...lol.....another panicy moment!
Thanks once again,
Barb;)

>>Barb, I am so glad I could be of some help. That is why I posted this story. The Dr. that did my blood work deals with mostly natural remedies and he is a regular MD who specializes in internal medicine. So you may want to find another Dr. to perform the tests. But if you stay with your RE, INSIST on having this test. Please let me know how you do!
