YES!! I had a hysterectomy in February of this year. It took an act of congress to get it through my nurse's head after surgery that I was not diabetic. She kept asking me what my sugars were reading at home, and I kept having to explain that I was IR/PCOS, not diabetic. Finally, after the second day after my surgery, she quit asking and all was well...
