>>Jan, I was diagnosed with PCOS 10 years ago, forgo fertility treatments after 3+ years, my hubby and I adopted two wonderful kids. 2 years ago I went to a reproductive endo for health reasons and he diagnosed me with insulin resistance. I started taking avandia only for that time, I found out almost 2 months ago that I am pregnant. They immediately did blood work to check my hormone level and found that my progesterone level was low. I was put on 400mg progesterone a day, 200 am 200 pm, I then had my blood rechecked once a week. I was weaned off of it last week as I am now 3 months along and am doing fine. I don't know why some are given the suppositories and others pills. >>----- Original Message -----
