I am having this problem also.I started taking met and spirolactone.I started bleeding after about 3 months on met alone.Added spiro at 5 months started bleeding heavy and it wouldnt stop.I have a build up of the uterine lining that is probably going to have to be surgically removed d&c.I dont think it is the meds causing this,I hadnt had a period for about a year before starting meds.Doctor believes that the meds stops insulin from attacking ovaries so i started my cycle and there was just so much build up my body cant get rid of it all.Its a pain i no.I dont no your medical history so i dont no that you have the same problem. But i hope it may help you.Because if it is your problem also you really need to see a doctor. The heavy bleeding took me to emergency 2 times.I was anemic and extremely weak because of it.Your just cant keep bleeding.Good luck to you.
