I agree with the idea that a reproductive endocrinology consult and/ or infertility consult is necessary. Now is a good time to be evaluated and let them get you on a regimen of testing and treatment to have you ready to possibly conceive in the next 6 months. There is still a lot of hope -are you on a good amount of metformin?? Are you having regular menstrual cycles and ovulating. Think about diet/ exercise regimen and a lot of people here can tell you the best of the best in those departments. Have you had testing to check your fallopian tubes/ ovaries and such - all this can be organized through one of the above specialists in the hope to get you pregnant. Best of Luck - I am also trying to conceive and feel your anguish - but every day new research becomes available and there is a lot of hope for metformin use along with other therapies. No it's not 100% - but the odds are on your side!!!
