HELP!! Just because I got pregnant doesn't mean the disease is GONE!

I am a 30 year old woman, diagnosed with PCOS when I was 22. My husband and I started trying to get pregnant right after we married because we knew that time wasn't on our side, and we're incredibly grateful to the doctors who aided us in having our 3 son :) (one single and twins). The twins are 2 years old now, and we've decided to not try again. Three is enough, and besides, it was much harder the second time around, and we just don't want to go through fertility treatments again. The problem I'm having is that I feel like my doctors have looked at my case and said "Problem solved--she got pregnant--end of story." It's not the end of story for me!! I'm almost 100 pounds overweight, and no amount of dieting, or days spent sweating at the gym is affecting it. Glucophage doesn't seem to affect my metabolism, and my insulin level is rising, even with taking it (not to mention that it makes me sick). I have more facial hair than most adolescent boys, and because I'm so fair skinned, I've been told by 3 dermatologists that laser removal won't work, and electrolysis will probably take several repeat attempts. I've been told that I have chronic fatigue syndrome, although I think it's strange that I'm either half asleep, or completely wide awake and unable to sleep--and that it conincides with when I take chemical/hormonal d&c. Has anyone else been met with this kind of attitude following successful fertility treatments? I know that it WAS the whole focus of my life for a long time. I really thought that the end goal was to have children--and in part, it was. But now I have three children, and they need a healthy mother who isn't going to drop over dead of diabetes, or heart disease, or God knows what else. Ok, I'm done whining. :)Seriously, though, it seems to be hard to find a physician who really seem to want to be aggressive now. Any thoughts???
