Wow, that sounds a little like me, only, they sprung my diagnosis on me while I was driving in the car talking on my cell phone. (I take great comfort in the fact that when I typed in "PCOS Support" into google, it took me nearly directly here.) And that was before all the tests that came out normal range. I am normal. My insulin reading was an 18. Normal. My glucose was a 97. Normal. So really, you are sort of like me, as I got diagnosed before I got the normals. But I think you are fabulous, anyway. I had a glass of wine tonight.

My doc is convinced I have it, I'm pretty convinced I have it (due to the fact that hello, I do not respond to hormone therapy very happily, and gain weight on pills like crazy. Also, I have insane periods. I will not lie, they are oligomenarchic, and EVIL from HELL. Also, well, I just have to have it because nothing else do I have.) But everything so far in normal range, though they seem to be a very HIGH normal. Anyway,

Get another doctor asap. Something is up, I tell ya. You may have something else going on, there are apparently serious endocrine probs that present with similar symptoms.

Much love and good luck to you,

(who has skin tags on her neck. Does that mean anything? I read on some
homeopathic site it means your "colon does not work properly". Man. My
colon, now? I need more?)
