Hiya, I live in Sacto, and had to go to Roseville to even be assessed for stuff, as the sacto pt. westers were just putting me on more and more hormones and freaking me out beyond imagination.

If you are willing to come to Kaiser in Sac, apparently the Reproductive Endocrinologist Dr. Murray is phenomenal (at pt. west), but the waiting period to see him is about 6 months.

I really like my current OBGYN, Dr. Azevedo in Roseville. He rocks. He finally diagnosed me, and is really going out of his way not to get me freaked out. I said "Okay, I am freaking out" and he immediately kicked into action to get me noticed by Dr. Murray for info about metformin, and in to see an RD for a full assessment of diet. Also, I fired my GP, Who Remains Anonymous, and got a new one who is familiar with PCOS and will connect me with a regular endocrinologist for the meantime.

So Sacto ain't all that bad, nor all that far from you.

Take care,
