Re: bleeding.

Hi there...
What ARE the side effects from provera? I think I am seriously
(seriously) <<seriously>> different than most people. Does anyone know
if bruises get worse on it? Mine seem to.
I was told it would make me depressed and stop the steady drain of
anovulatory bleeding I have had going since August 2. Before that, I
had "spotting" and every month I have "spotting" (and bleeding), but not
usually a period (i.e., heavy bleeding) until of course I am camping or
something, that's when the primal flow springs forth (and I am always
miles from civilization, or walking home in white pants, promise) when
the uterus gives out and opens up. That's when I pass out from cramps,
too.
Okay, so provera...I am on it to STOP the bleeding, clean me out, and
start a new bc for regulation. I am still bleeding, but feel great. I
am calm and cool. And eating low carb low salt peanuts with a small
dose of fresh raspberries (snack time).
Do you know anything about bleeding while on provera? I bled with really
high estrogen pills as well (3/day, Ovcon 35, the last ditch effort to
stop the bleeding last year).
I understand most people have no bleeding with PCOS. May I just tell
you, my version is no fun?
So, can someone tell me what else to expect from Provera? Also, how
weird is it to feel "better" nearly immediately after starting it last
friday, and why isn't it stopping the bleeding? The nurse yesterday said
it should have completely stopped last sunday, and it's only getting
more profoundly messier.
Much love,
~Amelie
