HI anon, You have to provide a bit more info in order for us to provide you with more info..lol! You have a polycyctic *type* syndrome*.I was told that I don't have problems with weight, hairloss, hairgrowth, acne either..but at one time,I certainly did.I still needed Glucophage as I am IR.

Is your doctor basing this diagnosis on ultrasound only? Are you Insulin Resistant? Have you had tests done to rule out insulin resisitance? What are your main complaints? Your doctor may think that medications are unnecessary at this time as you don't present with many of the symptoms of pcos. That is what happened to me last year till I seen another endocrinologist who definitley said my elevated male hormones were related to pcos as well as being IR. I hope others can provide you with the answers you are looking for.
